Regarding Occupational Health and Safety at Ames Europe Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş.:
Identifying occupational health and safety risks and taking measures to protect employees and all stakeholders from potential hazards,
Continuously monitoring national legislation on occupational health and safety and the business partnership rules of our customers and operating accordingly,
Conducting occupational health and safety activities in accordance with the internationally accepted ISO 45001:2018 management system standards,
Periodically reviewing the management system and occupational health and safety practices to ensure continuous improvement,
Organizing trainings to ensure that all employees are aware of their individual responsibilities regarding occupational health and safety, creating awareness on machines by identifying risks in relevant areas with machine safety cards,
Contributing to the development of occupational health and safety practices of our suppliers,
Being prepared for emergencies such as fire, earthquake, flood, injury, and epidemics, and conducting regular drills by involving all employees in these processes to increase the awareness of all stakeholders,
Installing necessary fire detection and alarm systems in all our buildings and units to prevent fire risks and prevent loss of life in emergencies, and conducting regular checks of these systems and extinguishing equipment,
Keeping a chemical inventory list to track all chemicals used, storing them in appropriate containers, along with their labels and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) information,
To raise awareness among employees about what to do in case of chemical spills/spills through drills,
To provide personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to the hazard class when necessary and to ensure its use when required,
To provide a safe working environment by considering both physical conditions and psychosocial well-being,
To ensure the right of participation and consultation for all employees.
