Senior Sales Account Manager – Technical Textiles - Automotive

Full-time Position | Europe | Travel: 50%

As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Your expertise in technical textiles and/or your experience in the automotive market will allow you to provide valuable insights and support to our customers.

Ames Europe's HQ and warehouse is located in Enschede, the Netherlands. Manufacturing and R&D locations are in Izmir, Turkey and Gastonia, NC, USA.

To expand our business in Europe, we are looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager to develop and manage key relationships within the European market for knitted technical fabrics.

Key Responsibilities

• •Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and industry partners.
• •Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market for knitted technical fabrics.
• •Provide expert guidance on our fabric solutions to customers, ensuring optimal application of our products.
• •Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• •Represent Ames Europe at trade shows and exhibitions.
• •Travel to visit customers, partners, and attend industry events.

Your Profile

• •Proven experience in B2B sales and account management, either in the technical textiles or the automotive industry. Bringing new market expertise is a plus.
• •Excellent relationship-building skills with a proactive and consultative sales approach.
• •Strong understanding of the decision making process for automotive textiles is a plus.
• •Self-motivated and able to work independently while being part of an international team.
• •Based preferably in the Netherlands or Germany.
